Dead Bed Sleeve

Iracore has always had an innovative approach to solving wear problems. In approximately 1975, Iracore designed and patented a urethane part called a dead bed sleeve.

The concept was to allow the slurry material conveyed in launders, sumps, feed pipes, distributors and collection boxes to abrade against a buildup of the same material, thus eliminating wear on the structural surface.
